HUMANE RESULTS & TIMING - Our work humanely removes access/perches and makes the area less convenient for birds. - Bird activity may not cease immediately; allow up to 14 days for birds to relocate. CLEANING LIMITS - We remove accessible nesting material/debris as needed for installation. Heavy feces buildup or deep cleaning is not included and can be quoted separately. INSTALLATION METHODS - Mesh is attached to solar panel frames with approved clips; corners and obstructions are sealed to prevent entry. No drilling into solar glass. - Spikes are adhered or mechanically fastened per substrate and manufacturer guidance. - We avoid roof penetrations whenever reasonably possible; any necessary fasteners are sealed. STANDARD WARRANTY – 1 YEAR - One (1) year workmanship/materials warranty on installed mesh and spikes. If birds gain access under protected panels or perch on spiked areas due to our materials or workmanship, we will repair/restore those covered areas at no charge. - Exclusions: pre-existing roof/panel issues; acts of God/extreme weather; damage/alteration by owner/contractors/roofers; new equipment added after install; animals other than birds; areas not treated by us; normal wear; cosmetic residue from sealants/adhesives. EXTENDED WARRANTY – OPTIONAL 2 OR 3 YEARS - If purchased as a line item, the same coverage/exclusions extend to the stated term. Transferable to the next homeowner with written notice. - If not purchased at install, extended coverage may be added within 30 days after our inspection. NOT INCLUDED UNLESS STATED - Electrical work; panel/roof/gutter/structural repairs; hazardous-material abatement; painting; permits; prevailing wage/union requirements; incidental roof or building improvements. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide safe access (driveway/parking/ladder setup), keep areas clear, restrain pets, and disclose known roof defects or fragile surfaces. - We may reschedule if conditions are unsafe (weather, pests/bees, unstable or brittle roofing). SCHEDULING, CHANGES & VALIDITY - Price valid for 30 days. Scheduling windows are estimates and may shift for weather/safety. - If actual site conditions differ materially or additional work is requested, we will issue a change order for approval before proceeding. PAYMENT & FEES - Payment due upon completion; no deposit required. - Any appointment cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice will be subject to a $129 cancellation fee. - Invoices unpaid after 15 days may incur late fees and reasonable collection costs. PHOTOS & MARKETING - We capture before/after photos for quality control and warranty. Unless you opt out in writing, we may use anonymized images (no names/addresses) for marketing. RISK & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY - We use reasonable care; we are not responsible for pre-existing or latent defects. Our total liability is limited to the contract price; no incidental or consequential damages. GOVERNING LAW - California law governs; venue in Alameda County, CA. LICENSE & INSURANCE - Bird Proof is fully insured.
